10/27/09 UTTERING A FORGED DOCUMENT, 10:44 p.m. Oct. 27. Aldo Chavez, 25, of Piscataway was charged with paying for Chicken McNuggets with a counterfeit $100 bill at the drive-up window of McDonald’s on Route 22.

According to an affidavit filed in Superior Court, Officer Gregory Victor was called to the fast-food restaurant on a hold-up alarm. When the officer arrived, he saw a blue Honda Accord attempting to drive away from the drive-up window. Because he suspected the car may have been involved in the alarm, the officer blocked the car, the affidavit said.

When Victor asked the driver, later identified as Chavez, why he was leaving without his food, Chavez said that he “did not want to wait for his Chicken McNuggets.”

An employee then came out of the restaurant with an $100 bill that the officer determined was counterfeit, the affidavit said.

The employee said Chavez had ordered six Chicken McNuggets and tried to pay for the food with the $100 bill, according to the affidavit.

Chavez was then arrested. (Green Brook, NJ)
